Chauncy Welliver is a heavyweight boxer originally from Spokane, Washington who also lives in and represents Auckland, New Zealand. He has a career record of 52-5-5. In our January 2012 WBO Rankings, Welliver is the #10 rated Heavyweight in the world.

He is the current interim WBO Asia Pacific HW Champion WBC Continental Americas HW Champion and WBC Asian Boxing Council HW Champion, as well as holding the interim WBO Asia Pacific HW Championship. On October 3, 2011, Welliver became the WBO China Zone HW Champion with a victory over Rob Calloway. Chauncy Welliver is also the #1 rated Native American HW Boxer by the Native American Boxing Council.

His ring name is the Hillyard Hammer. He is currently trained by former Native American HW Title Challenger, Joe “The Boss” Hipp. His current manager is Roland Jankelson. He is also a HW Consultant for the boxing radio show On The Ropes.
