Petchboon, Thailand – In a interesting heated battle of Female Mini Flyweight contenders for the vacant WBO Female crown, Thailand’s former WBO Mini Flyweight world champion Teeraporn Pinnimit takes on formidable Female fighter from the Philippines Gretchan Abaniel today at Petchboon province, Thailand. Yesterday, both female participants weighed-in exactly the 105lb. limit in their weigh-in at Petchboon Homeland Resort supervised by WBO Executive Asia Pacific Chairman Leon Panoncillo.

Panoncillo, who had turned Asia into a WBO Empire of champions producing more regional champions and World champions in the history of the Orient for the WBO will also supervise the highly anticipated rematch of Brian “The Hawaiian Punch” Viloria vs Omar Nino Romero on May 13th at Manila.

Teeraporn Pinnimit with an outstanding record of 15win-5lost-5ko won her last fight against Napaporn Superchamp this past March 23rd, her best outing fight was at Germany against Sussie Kintikian who everyone at the venue applauded Pinnimit for hanging in there with the undefeated champion and did very well, it was for the unified Female Flyweight World title.

Manager promoter Pariyakorn Ratanasuban informed that her fighter Teeraporn Pinnimit was to small for the flyweight division and have decided to return to Mini Flyweight where she belongs to reclaim her crown.

Meanwhile, Terrance Mogg, trainer of Grechan Abaniel have great confidence with his fighter as Abaniel also compiled a great record of 13 total fights with 10wins-3lost-2ko and came from a great amateur background with 30 plus fights. Abaniel lost her last fight against female IBF world champion Katia Guiterrez via 4th round stoppage however, on her previous fight before that on February 2011, she went the distance against formidable defending WBC Asian Boxing Council champion Samson Buamus who had a record of 19wins-2lost.
