Gentlemen: As per Section 11 through 14 of the enclosed copy of the WBO Regulations of World Championship Contests (www.wboboxing.com), please be advised that a Purse Bid will be held at 11:00 a.m. AST on Thursday, June 27th, 2019, at the World Boxing Organization headquarter offices at San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Pursuant to our WBO Regulations of World Championship Contests on Purse Bid procedures, kindly note:

The Minimum acceptable bid for the WBO Mini-Flyweight Division is $80,000.00 (Eighty Thousand Dollars). WBO President Francisco Valcárcel, Esq. will preside purse bid proceedings.

Kindly note the following provisions:

1. If the Champion is injured and depending on the type of injury and the needed recovery time, the WBO Championship Committee, in accordance to the WBO Regulations, will decide if the title is vacated or an interim championship is ordered.

2. If the Challenger is injured or refuses to fight, he loses his position in the rankings and the WBO World Championship Committee can determine the next available contender, or it can order an Elimination bout with the two best available contenders, and the Champion can be permitted a Voluntary bout.

3. Signed contracts shall be filed to the WBO Offices within five (5) days upon the adjudication of the Purse Bid.

Section 13 (a) subsections (1) (A) and (B) of the WBO Regulations of World Championship Contests provides:

1. The Purse for Championship Contests held and completed pursuant to Purse Bids shall be distributed as follows:

(1) CHAMPIONSHIPS WITH AN EXISTING CHAMPION

(a) In fights for the Title between the Champion and the Mandatory Challenger held in the country of origin, residence or nationality of the Champion, the Champion shall receive 75% of the purse and the Challenger shall receive the remaining 25%. (b) In a fight for the Title held in any other country, the Champion shall receive 80% of the purse and the Challenger shall receive the remaining 20%. Please be advised that the parties must comply fully with the WBO Regulations of World Championship Contests regarding Purse Bid procedures. Yours Truly,

SUBASTA OMB JR. GALLO MANDATORIA OMAR NARVAEZ vs. FELIPE ORUCUTA

La subasta fue convocada para el 30 de junio de 2014 a las 11:00 AM en OFICINAS CENTRALES DE LA OMB 1056 Avenida Muñoz Rivera, Ste. 711-714 San Juan, PR 00927-5013

Asisten a la subasta:

  • Francisco Valcárcel, Presidente, preside
  • Sebastián Rivero, O.R. Promotions, representando a Omar Narváez
  • Félix Zabala., Jr. de All Star Promotions
  • Luis Pérez, Presidente del Comité de Clasificaciones OMB
  • Margaro Cruz – Entrenador
  • Lic. José Izquierdo, Secretario del Comité Ejecutivo de la OMB

La convocación de subasta fue hecha el 18 de junio de 2014 para el lunes, 30 de junio del corriente. La subasta oficialmente comenzó a las 11:30 de la mañana.

El Presidente Valcárcel dió la bienvenida a todos y paso a explicar lo acordado:

Por acuerdo de las partes debido a la situación legal de Argentina, se les permitió a ambos licitadores presentar cheques de una cuenta en Estados Unidos en lugar de efectivo o cheque certificado. Se hace constar que O.R.P. y All Star Promotions tienen Licencia de Promotor al día, por lo que, a esos efectos, se les exime del requisito de presentar la certificación. Si O.R.P. gana la subasta, tiene diez (10) días, esto es hasta el jueves 10 de julio de 2014 a las 4:00 PM EST, para enviar la transferencia por el 10% de la cantidad ofrecida por la subasta y demás cuotas. De no cumplir con este requisito dentro del término establecido, el segundo postor será declarado ganador de la subasta.

El Sr. Félix Zabala, representando a All Star, entregó el primer sobre que contenía $1,000 (Mil) dólares de la cuota de subasta, iniciando la subasta.

El Sr. Sebastián Rivero, en representación de O.R.P., entregó su primer sobre con los $1,000 (Mil) de su cuota de subasta.

El Presidente Valcárcel indicó al Sr. Rivero que presentara su segundo sobre, el cual incluía un cheque con la cantidad de $40,150 (Cuarenta Mil Ciento Cincuenta) dólares, el 10% de $401,500 (Cuatrocientos Un Mil Quinientos) dólares. Las fechas propuestas para la pelea fueron el 30 de agosto o el 6 de septiembre del corriente en Buenos Aires, Córdoba, o cualquier otra ciudad dentro de la República Argentina.

Entonces, el Presidente Valcárcel abrió el segundo sobre perteneciente a All Star Promotions, que contenía un cheque por la cantidad de $30,100 (Treinta Mil Cien) dólares, el 10% de $301,000 (Trescientos Un Mil) dólares, con la fecha del 6 de septiembre en México D.F. o el 13 de septiembre en la ciudad de Tijuana, México.

Se le adjudica la subasta a O.R. Promotions. Se proveerá transportación aérea y hotel al boxeador Orucuta y 4 personas adicionales con llegada a Argentina una semana antes de la pelea. La cantidad recibida por el boxeador Orucuta estará sujeta a aquellas leyes fiscales de la República Argentina.

El Presidente Valcárcel felicitó al ganador, O.R. Promotions y le dio las gracias a todos los presentes. La subasta terminó a las 12:00 PM EST.
