On the televised portion of the “Grand Finale” card in Las Vegas, Nev. at the Thomas & Mack Center: Despite two knockdowns, Brian Viloria (19-1, 12 KOs) was unable to avenge his shock loss to Omar Nino (24-2-1, 10 KOs) earlier this year. “The Hawaiian Punch” was credited with a knockdown in the fifth when Nino’s glove touched the ground and in the ninth when he floored Nino hard, but he also gave away many rounds with inactivity.
