Sergey Kovalev to defend WBO title against Eleider Alvarez on August 4

Two-time light heavyweight world champion Sergey “Krusher” Kovalev (3-2-1, 28 KOs) and Eleider “Storm” Alvarez (23-0, 11 KOs) will officially announce their upcoming WBO Light Heavyweight World Title fight from the Hard Rock Cafe in NYC on Saturday, May 12.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City will play host for this World Title fight on Saturday, August 4 which will be televised live on HBO World Championship Boxing® beginning at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

The event is presented by Main Events and Krusher Promotions in association with Groupe Yvon Michel. Ticket information will be announced on Saturday.
