Marquez and Segura attract multitudes in Hermosillo

Headlining fighters for “Poder vs. Poder” (Power vs. Power) drew hundreds of fight fans to a meet and greet event on Wednesday at the Municipal Market. Hernan “Tyson” Marquez, Giovani “Guerrero Azteca” Segura, David “Tornado” Sanchez, Jean Piero Perez and Miguel Berchelt spent more than an hour with the people, signing autographs and posing for pictures with who requested them. “Tyson” Marquez (36-3-0, 26 KOs) will face Giovani Segura (30-3-1, 26 KOs) with the winner to face Juan Francisco “Gallo” Estrada for the WBO world championship in early 2014. The bout will be televised on UniMas.

Super flyweight “Tornado” Sanchez (22-2-2, 17 KOs) will face two-time world title challenger Jean Piero Perez (20-6-1, 14 KOs) in a ten round co-feature and Miguel Berchelt (19-0, 16 KOs) will face Omar Estrella (15-5, 13 KOs).
