Boesel to defend WBO Youth belt

WBO Youth light heavyweight champion Dominic Boesel (11-0-0, 4 KOs) returns June 14 to defend his belt against Chris Mafuta (12-3, 6 KOs) at the Stadthalle in Weißenfels, Germany. Also on the card are Boesel’s teammates from SES Boxing’s new “Team Germany” consisting of up-and-coming German hopefuls.

Dominic Boesel: “It’s a huge thing to be able to box in this area. The atmosphere will be crazy. I’m very proud of my title and I won’t give it away. I respect my opponent. Chris as a good boxer, but I don’t need to talk much. I feel very sure.”
