Arce Hopes To Land a Pacquiao vs Bradley Undercard Spot

WBO bantamweight champion Jorge Arce (59-6-2, 45KOs), who returns later tonight against Lorenzo Parra in Mexicali, is hoping to fight again on June 9th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas – as part of the Manny Pacquiao-Timothy Bradley pay-per-view undercard.

Arce was hoping to face WBO super bantamweight champion Nonito Donaire, but the Filipino star is planning to return on June 16th against another opponent, according to some recent comments from Top Rank’s CEO Bob Arum. If both of them win in June, Arce expects to fight Donaire on a tentative date of September 15th in Las Vegas.

“I have I’ve stolen the show a couple of times on Pacquiao’s events. I did it the first time when I knocked out Hussein Hussein and the last when I knocked out Wilfredo Vazquez. I don’t know if it is confirmed [a spot on Pacquiao-Bradley], but that’s what I know,” Arce said.
